ART EDUCATION FOR SCHOOL CLASSES from grade 3
Museum DKM is now offering new educational formats for school classes from the 3rd grade upwards.
The aim is to make Museum DKM’s rich collection experienceable in a playful and at the same time professionally well-founded way. Our art educators offer workshops with various questions tailored to the needs of the different age groups.
WORKSHOPS (museum exploration with practical unit):
PRIMARY STAGE (3rd and 4th grade)

SECONDARY LEVEL I (5th-10th grade)
– From Buddha to the scholar’s stone – China and Japan
– Bowls and vessels – inside and outside
– Lines and shapes – from Kricke to Hermanns
– Representations of people
– Material and technique of works of art
SECONDARY LEVEL II (10th – 12th grade)
