In these times, a classic theme returns: the “institution” of the family and its complex relationships. Its members are entangled in a web of love, dependency, violence, contradiction and ambivalence. This is the theme of the play. The title onomatopoeically describes the call to be quiet even when emotions are strong, to conceal intentions. The choreographic structure of the piece is determined by the space that protects the characters, but at the same time creates a kind of prison in which love, hate and aggression take place. Each performer will express themselves in one of the classic family roles. It is about the clandestine power structures. The dancers move between surrendering themselves and the will to liberate themselves. The choreography is based on research: Whispering, silence, becoming loud within family structures; transforming silence into movement, dynamics, quality; revealing secrets through posture and voice; lying with bodies.
